Crawlspace Interior Water Management System

A wet crawlspace can be just as dangerous to your home and health as a wet basement.

As water stands in your crawlspace it can weaken the stability of your home causing cracks in the footings, masonary walls, and the dry wall in the home. A wet crawl-space can also lead to rotting and warping of the beams and joists. These wet conditions are the perfect environment for bugs and termites which often leads to infestation.

The first step is to control the water by installing an Interior Water Management System inside the crawlspace foundation walls. Once the water problem is solved the next step is to solve any and all moisture problems. This is done by installing a 6 mil. ground vapor barrier or an encapsulation system.
